Iran bags 5 gold medals in Eurasian Kempo Championship

The event was held with the attendance of athletes from Iran, Azerbaijan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan on March 26-27 in Shagan Olympic Sport Complex.

In Full-Kempo, Kempo Submission directions, Iranian fighter Mahmoud Roosta in the weight category of 65 kg defeated all his rivals and received a gold medal.

During Kempo Submission direction without uniform, he was overpowered by Azeri rival and bagged a bronze medal.

In 85 weight category, Iranian athlete Mahmoud Safarian also received a gold medal of Full Kempo and Submission Kempo directions.

Finally, Azerbaijan ranked first, Iran ranked second and Kyrgyzstan stood on the third place.
