Iran 7-a-side football team ranks 2nd in 2017 IFCPF

The Iranian team was defeated by Ukraine 1-0 and stood in the second place of the competitions.
Iran was in Group B along with Russia, Argentina and Portugal.

Players of the IFCPF CP Football World Championships are athletes who compete with a physical disability.

The 7-a-side football is a form of association football for athletes with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders, namely stroke and traumatic brain injury. Matches consist of two 30-minute halves, with a 15-minute interval, and are played with modified FIFA rules.

The 2017 IFCPF CP Football World Championships, which is the world championship for men's national 7-a-side association football teams, was held in Argentina from September 10-23.
