Persepolis has been scheduled to meet in-form Tractor Sazi on Sunday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
A defeat would leave it seven points adrift of IPL leader Esteghlal in the table.
“Persepolis has a difficult match against Tractor Sazi since the team has secured two big wins in the AFC Champions League. In my opinion, Tractor Sazi is a small Team Melli (the Iranian national football team),” the Croat said.
“Tractor Sazi would have won the title if they had not experienced a misfortune last year. They are dangerous team at the moment especially from the set pieces,” he added.
“Anyway, Persepolis can win the title because we play football very well. My ultimate dream is to win the IPL title with Persepolis,” former Iran coach said.
