Zarif to visit 3 North African countries

“In the visit which is in response to official invitations of Algerian, Mauritian and Tunisian governments, the Foreign Minister meets the head of states as well as his counterparts,” added Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Bahram Qasemi.

The visits are aimed at boosting mutual relations and expanding the ties between Iran and the African countries, as well as discussing the developments of the region, including Syria and the Persian Gulf, according to the spokesman.

“Developments of the region necessitate solidarity among Muslim countries in the face of ill-wishers and those who want to see them divided, added Qasemi.
