Zarif: Terrorists hit 'seat of democracy'

He wrote in a tweet on Thursday, “Terror-sponsoring despots threaten to bring the fight to our homeland. Proxies attack what their masters despise most: the seat of democracy.”

Earlier on Wednesday, two simultaneous attacks hit the parliament and Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in the South of the capital, killing 12 and wounding 46.

Security sources said that one of the suicide bombers in Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum was shot before taking any action, but the other one exploded himself. And from the three terrorists in Majlis (the Iranian Parliament), one could explode himself, but the other two were shot to death by security guards.

Daesh (the ISIS terrorist) took responsibility of the attacks.
