Zarif meets with Danish parliamentary delegation

The delegation was led by Soren Espersen, the chairman of Foreign Policy Committee of Danish Parliament.

Zarif and Espersen reviewed issues of mutual interest particularly economic ties in the post-sanctions era.

The two sides expressed deep concern about deterioration of humanitarian situation in the region arising from conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, calling for displomatic approach to restore peace and stability in the region.

The Danish delegation are currently on a formal visit to Tehran at the invitation of Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.
