Zarif: Iran never begs its progress from others

Delivering speech on the MS Global Day, Zarif said massive turn out of Iranian people removed the shadow of economic sanctions against the country.
“We are very happy to witness that the powerful presence of Iranian people under wise leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and courage of the President-elect Hassan Rouhani, the unpleasant shadow of economic sanctions has been removed,” Zarif said.
“We are happy to witness that grounds have been prepared for a better life for all people, mainly those suffering special diseases,” he said.
'Your active presence on the scene has improved our circumstances,' said the minister.
He went on saying, 'If we do not face any problem with medicine supply today and do not need resorting to unconventional and inhumane methods (for the purpose) and stand prosperous worldwide and our patients don't have basic medical problems at hospitals, those are not because of those negotiating; rather those are because of you intelligent people.'
Elections had one very significant message and it was they should talk with great Iranian people with respect and they should avoid humiliation and sit behind negotiating table to resolve issues, he said.
'Your presence at the polling stations indicated that no one in the world can threaten any Iranian national,' Zarif said.
'You proved that you never beg your security, independence, scientific and technological progress from others; you are not a type of nation like many those in our neighborhood to shake with a blink of westerners or Americans while jubilating by a wink,' he said.
'Once again, I do appreciate you and ask you to appreciate your own values,' he said.
Powerful presence of Iranian people under wise leadership of the Supreme Leader put an end to all lies, accusations, Iranophobia and a security image of Iranian people that has never posed any threat to its neighbors throughout history and has always exercised patience in dealing with immoralities of the neighbors, he said.
