'Important discussion at #NUMOV on #Iran with a special focus on #INSTEX Exploring ways on how #INSTEX can help to maintain legal trade in support of the #JCPOA,' Director-General for Economic Affairs and Sustainable Development at Federal Foreign Office Miguel Berger said Wednesday in a Twitter message.
'At the #IAEA Board I reaffirmed our full confidence in the IAEA to monitor and verify the #IranDeal, using all information available and seeking clarifications through complementary access when necessary,' UK Resident Representative to IAEA and UK Governor to IAEA Board David Hall wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
'I called on Iran to continue to comply with the #JCPOA,' he added.
Meanwhile, Italian Mission to the I.O. in Vienna in a Twitter message said 'Delivering Italy’s statement at the #IAEA Board of Governors, PR Accili reiterated Italy’s commitment to the full implementation of #JCPOA and full trust in the @iaeaorg’s ability to objectively and impartially verify #Iran’s compliance with its obligations under the deal.'
In the meantime, Australian Resident Representative and Governor on the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Brendon Hammer said “Australia attaches highest importance to the #IAEA’s activities in Iran under the #JCPOA. Australia’s continued support for the JCPOA is informed by ongoing advice from the Director General that Iran is fully implementing its nuclear commitments under the Plan.'
Also Former Executive Director of IISS–Americas Mark Fitzpatrick, tweeted on Wednesday that 'the JCPOA continues to survive, despite Trump's attempts to kill it.'
Earlier, the Permanent Representative of Japan to the International Organizations in Vienna Mitsuru Kitano in a message reiterated support for Iran nuclear deal, saying 'At the @iaeaorg [International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)] Board of Governors meeting, I made a statement on Iran’s nuclear issues. “Japan continues to firmly support the JCPOA, as it strengthens the international non-proliferation regime and contributes to the peace and stability of the Middle East region.”
Trump earlier announced on May 8, 2018, the withdrawal from the JCPOA, which was condemned by other parties to the 2015 agreement and their emphasis to stay in the landmark international deal.
The International Atomic Energy Agency in its 14th report on February 22 reiterated Iran compliance with its commitments under the nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Meanwhile, earlier Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano reiterated the fact that Iran is implementing its commitments under the nuclear deal
'My report on Verification and monitoring in the Islamic Republic of Iran in light of the United Nations Security Council resolution 2231 (2015) covers relevant activities of the Agency in that country over last few months,' Amano said.
'Iran is implementing its nuclear-related commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. It is essential that Iran continues to fully implement those commitments,' he added.
