Venezuela congratulates Iran on Norouz

The statement, posted on Venezuelan Communication Ministry’s website, quoted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro as congratulating President Hassan Rouhani and Iranian nation on the occasion on behalf of Venezuelan government and nation.
The statement read, “In the year of rebirth and revival, we wish Iranian brother country and its officials success in gaining remarkable economic achievements and preservation of peace and stability as an independent state.”
Iran and Venezuela share common stances in defense of principles and goals of the UN charter and oppose unilateralism and territorial intervention, intended by the imperialist centers, it added.
Furthermore, Bolivar Republic congratulates the Iranian community residing in Venezuela and stresses its willingness and commitment to continue joint efforts to ensure successful promotion of bilateral and multilateral ties to build a balanced multipolar world in peace.
It hoped that the current Iranian year will be full of peace, happiness and success of nations.
