US, Zionist regime's dream of fulfilling evil plots will not come true

Addressing an academic gathering in Isfahan, central Iran, he said that the US and the Zionist regime were initially seeking division of Iraq and Syria but they failed to fulfill their horrible plans.

The plan unveiled by Leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Masoud Barzani was in line with the US and Zionist regime's secessionist plots, he said, noting that the Iraqi government foiled the conspiracy without any bloodshed through prudence and consultation with the Islamic Republic.

Contending that Iran is the pivot of resistance, Velayati said that any plot devised by the US and Israel is neutralized by Iran.
