US to export terrorism to Europe through weakening Syria: Iraqi expert

Hashem al-Kendi said in the recent years Syria has been a strong barrier on the way of terrorism penetration to Europe through Turkey. The US is seeking to enter terrorism to Europe and Europeans should be wise enough to see this.

He also said that another goal of the missile assault on Syria was to weaken the Axis of Resistance and deterrence against the US and its allies, adding that the US, through aiding the terrorists, wants to undermine the Syrian government and nation.

Referring to the facts that Russia has reduced the attacks due to participation in the peace talks, the terrorist groups were at a disadvantage and the Syrian air force was on the verge of deciding the fate of the war, the US attacked the Syrian base, said the Iraqi expert.

Reminding that a few weeks ago, the Syrian army downed an Israeli fighter, al-Kendi said the US was trying to disable the Syrian missile power.

Israel and some regional governments openly supported the assaults that, according to the Iraqi expert, 'revealed the existence of US-Zionist Axis” in the region.

Referring to worldwide condemnation of the attacks, he said Washington has violated the international laws by violating the territorial integrity of a sovereign state.

Al-Kendi emphasized that this attack was carried out to support the terrorists’ trying to survive, and also creating a protective cover for Israeli fighters.

He also said this measure taken by Trump defamed him and showed that Washington, once claiming to be fighting terrorism, is openly standing by the terrorists fighting the Syrian government and people.
