US responsible for costs of breaching JCPOA: MP

“Americans were trying to put the burden of breaching or violating JCPOA on Iran’s shoulder,” said Ali Najafi Khoshroudi.

He added that the landmark nuclear deal between Iran and the world major powers also called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is a multilateral and international agreement and stressed, “This document has been approved by the United Nations and the US cannot unilaterally reject or ignore it.”

Pointing to a bill recently passed in Iranian parliament, the lawmaker said, “The plan to counteracting terroristic and adventurous US activities in the region was ratified by high votes in Majlis the other day.”

The MP made the remarks to refer to the imposed new sanctions ratified in the US Senate on some Iranian and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps real entities, adding that based upon this plan, the US military forces’ capacities and their activities in the region must be under surveillance.

“We must pay attention to terroristic and adventurous US activities and their support for terrorist groups in the region including Daesh (ISIS), al-Nusrah and Mujahedin-e Khalq (MKO) as well as their backing for their satellite and oppressive regimes like the Zionists,” Khoshroudi pointed.

“Since Trump’s administration taking office in the White House and his decisions to damage different countries’ national interests including Iran, the hatred toward the US has increased in the world,” he said.
