Iran does not have any problem with American people, rather all the problems are with the US bullying government and the way of conduct with the other countries,' said Ahmad Khatami.
'Over the past 40 years since the Islamic Revolution, there has been no moment that we were not at loggerheads with the US,' he said, describing the Iranian nation as the winner of the campaign against US bullying throughout the years.
He said that Iran has experience of four types of war, military, cultural and political, so that currently Iran is facing an economic war.
The Friday prayers leader noted that the Iranian people equipped with their trust in God, wisdom, solidarity, resistance and perseverance would also be victorious in the current war .
He described the US President Donald Trump as a 'highwayman' and said that he wants money from the Arab states in return for security for kingdoms.
These days, Trump's main weapon is to threaten, but his strategy is shopworn with no effect on Iran, even if it may influence other countries.
One of the threats he resorts to, the Iranian cleric said, is to halt Iran's oil export.
'He knows well, however, that Iran can produce and export oil as as much as it wants,' he said.
