U.S.-based media reflects Iranians rallies on anniversary of U.S. embassy takeover

'The crowd chanted 'Down with U.S.' and 'Death to Israel' during the rally in the capital, and state TV said similar demonstrations were held in other cities and towns,' associated Press wrote.

Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal despite Iran's adherence to the agreement, has once again fueled Iranians' anger and distrust towards Washington, the U.S.-based News Agency said.

Iranian students captured the US embassy shortly after the Revolution on November 4, 1979. Since then Iran has each year marked the anniversary of U.S. embassy takeover to deal a heavy blow to the U.S. which backed Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

The embassy building, now called the den of espionage is currently a cultural center.
