Cavusoglu has arrived in Islamabad at the head of a delegation on a daylong visit to Pakistan. This is his first foreign visit since recent failed military coup in Turkey.
During his stay in Islamabad, he will hold talks with Pakistani leaders to discuss matters of bilateral cooperation and regional and international issues.
Cavusoglu has said the potential for economic cooperation and integration between Turkey and Pakistan has not yet been fully tapped.
Turkish Foreign Minister said strengthening logistics connectivity between the two countries and further to Eurasia will bring a strong impetus to the integration between the two countries.
He said, 'We are working on increasing our transport connectivity and container train service on the Istanbul-Islamabad corridor, which would provide a fast and low-cost logistics to boost trade relations.
