Turkish consul general: Iran-Turkey friendship age-old

'The friendship of Turkey and Iran is very old and we have many common stances in different areas,' Chaqlar Faheri Chaker Alep told reporters on Monday.

He said that Turkey and Iran are the biggest, most powerful and deep-rooted countries of the region and they have coordinated views and policies with each other in this regard.

'Turkey and Iran have friendly, brotherly ties which Date back to hundreds of years ago and as you know difference of opinion among members of a family is quite natural,' Chaqlar Faheri Chaker Alep added.
