Trump revealing world US same, old enmity towards Iran: Foreign Ministry

Reacting to recent comments by the White House, Qasemi said on Thursday that despite changes seemingly taking place in the United States, what remains to be the same is the country’s enmity towards the Islamic Republic.

“What remains to be unchanged since president Trump’s assumption of power is the same old enmity of the US towards Iran and Iranian people,” he said.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman also said that the release of various news on a daily basis, suggesting president Trump’s new decisions and behaviors, as well as untrue statements uttered by some of the newly-appointed American officials, associated with massive protests taking place in various US cities and other places in the world against Trump all suggest that a new president has been appointed to office in the United Sstates.

Certain changes may have seemingly taken place in the US since Trump came to power, but what has not changed is the US hostility towards Iran and Iranians, he said.

Qasemi also urged that what at the same time remains to be unchanged is the resolve and faith of the Iranian people and government in their bid to achieve independence and continue their fight against the enemy plots, its greed and the enmity of the White House.
