Terrorists who killed Iranian border guards in Pakistan: Police

Four Iranian border guards were killed on Wednesday in an ambush by terrorists in the border region of Jakigour in the southern Sarbaz district of Sistan and Balouchestan Province.

The terrorists have fled to Pakistan, said Saeed Montazerolmahdi on Thursday.

According to Montazerolmahdi, the timely reaction by the Iranian border guards stopped the terrorists from penetrating the country.

But four of our border guards were unfortunately killed, he said.

The terrorists by exploiting the inattention of the government of Pakistan managed to flee to the country, the police spokesman said.

According to him, following the incident, senior Iranian border guard commanders have called on the Pakistani security and border officials to do what is needed for the terrorists to be arrested and delivered to Iran.
