Bahram Qasemi made the remarks referring to the recent flood in Afghanistan.
He expressed regret over causalities and the damages to properties resulting from floods in various cities of Afghanistan.
Qasemi also sympathized with families of the victims of the incident.
Referring to recent flood in Iran and Afghanistan, he said Iranian and Afghan people have always stood together.
Heavy rain and flood in northern and western Afghanistan have claimed the lives of 20 people and injured hundreds of others.
The incident also killed thousands of animals and destroyed 4,000 houses.
