Tehran, Delhi highlight need for media relations

During the Sunday meeting, both sides emphasized boosting scientific exchanges and taking advantage of Indian media to better introduce Iran in the region and the world.

Hossein Entezami pointed to relations between Iran and India during sanctions and post-sanction eras, saying that Iranians will not forget India's companionship in the sanction era.

He also underscored signing media MoUs, signing sisterhood agreements between Iranian and Indian media and increasing joint media products.

Hailing the enhancement of cultural ties in media and tourism fields, taking advantage of media experiences in the region and the world and establishing media bureaus were among other topics raised by Indian delegation.
