Supreme Leader pardons tens of prisoners

The move was made on the occasion of Mab'ath, the anniversary of the appointment of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to prophethood.

Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadiq Amoli Larijani in a letter to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei had proposed pardoning and commuting jail terms of 593 convicts.
