Supreme Leader: Iran will steer clear of the US, talks with US bring nothing

The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian pupils and university students to mark November 4, 1979, the Student Day on which students proclaimed followers of Imam Khomeini captured the den of spies in Tehran (the US Embassy).

The Supreme Leader said that US never hesitates to show its enmity towards Iran and opening dialogue with them does not help remove the country's economic bottlenecks.
