Stronger Pak-Iran ties inevitable for regional peace: Pakistan Parl. Speaker

In his meeting with a women parliamentary delegation of Iran in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Speaker said Iran and Pakistan are intertwined by stronger multi-dimensional relations.

Appreciating Iran’s geo-political significance, he remarked that Iran’s role is central to unifying the Muslim world and underlined the need for pro-active parliamentary diplomacy to further cooperation amongst the Muslim countries.

A two-member women parliamentary delegation of Iran including two members of parliament Parvaneh Salahshouri and Masoomeh Aghapoor are visiting Pakistan to attend an international conference on the “role of women parliamentarians in strengthening democracy and social justice.”

The conference kicked off in Islamabad on Monday.

Yet, another two-member women parliamentary delegation of Iran, including Fatemeh Zolghadr and Hajar Chenarani are attending APA conference in Islamabad.
