In a message, released on Thursday night, Qasemi offered condolences to the bereaved families of victims of the fire incident and Iranian nation on the demise of a number of civilians, the firefighters in particular.
The spokesman praised bravery of firefighters and said may their souls rest in peace.
'I wish patience for the Iranian people, the dead firefighters' colleagues and the bereaved families of the victims.'
He also prayed for recovery of those injured in the fire incident.

The fire in Plasco Trade Center, which is one of the biggest in the Iranian capital, collapsed Thursday morning as the fire started in the seventeen-storey business building in the early hours of Thursday, despite efforts by Tehran firefighters to stop it.
A center for making apparel, the Plasco center soon was engulfed in a big fire that caused the collapse of a wall in the building's northern side and its final total collapse.
