Spokesman: Foreign Ministry following up lost rigs and money in Iran

He told IRNA that Foreign Ministry is following up the cases of lost oil rigs and money abroad during the ninth and tenth governments.

Qasemi said that it is too early to talk about results of the consideration of the cases.

He said that many cases and dossiers are under consideration in Foreign Ministry.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Saturday in inaugural ceremony for the exhibition of bourse, bank and insurance that serious damages happened in past government era in confrontation with imposed sanctions and approaches, which did not receive enough attention and its outcome was ruining financial order or transparency in Iran’s economy, which its outcomes are still hurting country’s economic.

Zarif added that lost oil rig or losing billions of dollars by opportunist brokers are a few samples of damages.
