Spokesman condemns escalation of attacks on Yemen residential areas

Qasemi underlined that preventing the access of international organizations and institutions in charge of rendering medical aids is against human rights.

He also condemned the Saudi Arabia-led air strike on a market which killed dozens of innocent people in Yemen on Friday (March 10).

Qasemi also voiced sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims of the heinous crime.

The spokesman underlined that the United Nation and other international institutions should take the massacre of innocent Yemeni civilians into consideration.

He also urged the intentional community to do its best for an immediate halt to such attacks and take necessary measures to protect the health and safety of civilians, women and children in particular, in Yemen.

According to media reports, at least 16 people were killed in airstrikes by Saudi warplanes on a market in the western Yemeni province of Hudaydah.

The air raids that hit the market in Khawkhah district on Friday also left 10 people injured.
