Speaker: Crises in region emboldens Zionist regime

In separate letters to his counterparts in the Islamic countries on the occasion of annual Quds Day, Larijani said that simultaneous with the 50th anniversary of occupation of the holy Quds, Zionist regime has intensified judaization of the region and continues building more settlements.

He also pointed to besieged Palestinian lands as well as crack down and murder of Palestinian people and said that holding the Quds Day ceremonies can attract attention of the world public opinion.

Larijani referred to recognition of Quds Day by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and final statement of the 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada and noted that the Iranian Majlis is ready to cooperate with the Islamic countries’ parliaments against the Zionist regime's atrocities.
