South Korea urges enhancement of cultural ties with Iran

He made the remarks in an interview with IRNA on the sidelines of Korea cultural festival in Tehran.

Cultural ties affect the economic and political relations between countries and Seoul is committed to enhance cultural relation with Tehran, he underlined.

The envoy said that South Korean President Park Geun-hye, during his recent visit to Tehran, underlined promotion of cultural ties between the two states.

He called Iranian and Korean peoples' relations historical and friendly, noting that the future of Iran-South Korea ties is brilliant.

South Korea cultural festival which began in Tehran's Milad Tower on Friday evening ended on Saturday night.
