Son: Ayat. Rafsanjani strived for unity all over life

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of his father's funeral procession on Tuesday, Mohsen said the late Ayatollah was trying all over his life to preserve and safeguard Islamic revolution.
He also talked about his father's invaluable role in the sacred defense era and said the Ayatollah played important role during the imposed war as substitute commander-in-chief.
The late Ayatollah Rafsanjani passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday evening due to cardiac arrest caused by heart attack.
