Six-month-long visas to be issued for Iranian businessmen: Iraqi envoy

In a meeting with the Iranian traders on Thursday, Mousavi added that given ties of good neighborhood between Iran and Iraq, visa issuance should not pose obstacles on the way of activities of the Iranian businessmen.

Noting that problems surrounding exchange of goods by the Iranian traders on Shalamcheh border will be addressed soon, he said that any businessman should pay only 100 dollars to obtain visas.

Mousavi said that over the past three months, some 1,190 visas have been issued for the Iranian businessmen.

Global arrogance is pursuing overthrow of the Islamic establishment both in Iraq and Iran and they imposed sanctions on Iran and sent terrorists to Iraq, he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Khorramshahr Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Hani Feisali said that economic development in both countries will never materialize except through concerted efforts, prudence and struggle over trade and economic issues.
