SANA Manager: IRNA pioneer in real broadcasting

Speaking on the sidelines of the International Media Forum, entitled “The new press era, Farewell to typical press”, Ahmad Dawa said that western media has supported terrorists during the last five years to distract world public opinion from truth.

Referring to western media's activities, he added that the terrorists' current invasion is regarded as a civil war by many people.

Regarding the warfare information launched against Syria, he said that media is responsible for reflecting the reality to the world.

Dawa said that the broadcasting approaches applied by the west are more destructive than any weapon.

Delegations from 30 different countries and also from Islamic Republic News Agency and Iranian embassy in Russia participated in the event.

Issues like cyberspace opportunities in developing mutual communication among media and the independent media convergence toward west were investigated in the event.

Delegations from the US, Italy, France, Spain, Greece, South Africa, Lebanon, Syria, Armenia, India, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, the United Arabic Emirates and UNESCO took part in the event.

An MoU was also inked between SANA and Rossiya Segodnya on the sidelines of the International Media Forum entitled “The new press era, Farewell to typical press”.
