Russian expert: Iran prevents fall of Syria, Iraq

There is just limited number of countries conducting real fight against Daesh as the most dangerous terrorist group in the world, Zakharov said in an exclusive interview with Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Iran systematically helped Syria and Iraq in fighting ISIS and prevented their fall by advisory assistance, he said.

Daesh and the terrorist groups pretend to be religious in the Middle East, but it is the US puppet, he noted.

The US supports Daesh since it is a part of US army, Zakharov said.
