Rouhani: US suffers more from wrongdoings

President Rouhani made the remarks at the end of his meetings with the three heads of branches of government in Tehran on Sunday.

The era of presidential election campaign is now over and it is time for solidarity and cooperation, he said.

In the meeting, they also discussed reaching a unity among the three branches of government with all forces who spare no efforts in this line, he said.

Various issues such as economic developments, investment and increase in production also discussed among them, he said.

The status of economy is of prime importance for the country, he said.

'We are looking for a serious investment pack from domestic and foreign investments,' Rouhni added.

There is no business cooperation between Iran and the US and in case we will be able to broaden economic cooperation with other countries, the Americans fail to impose sanctions on us and their attempts will be futile, he said.

Majlis is to examine a plan leading to isolation of the US, he underlined.

Iran's stand at global developments is so strong that no one can harm it, Rouhani said.

Under wise leadership of the Supreme leader of the Islamic revolution, the country enjoys solidarity and the country's armed forces fully protect the nation and no one dares to harm our armed forces, President Rouhani said.
Iran's army along with IRGC, Basij (volunteer forces), police and security forces won supreme leader's supports as well as the three branches of governments are fully determined to continue their path, he said.

The 12th government will exercise more unity and coordination with Majlis and judiciary body to respond to peoples demands, he said.

President Hassan Rouhani, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani and Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani exchanged views on domestic and regional developments.
