Rouhani: Tehran, Moscow cooperation not harming third country

Relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia help to bolster stability in the region and restoration of peace and tranquility in the region, Rouhani said in a meeting with his Russian counterpart at Kremlin palace in Moscow on Tuesday.

President Rouhani expressed the hope that the new round of talks will lead to new strides in broadening Tehran-Moscow relations.

Tehran and Moscow have a very good experience in fight against international terrorism and drug fights, Rouhani said.

The two sides also signed some 15 documents on various fields such as consulate, tourism, economic, telecommunications, legal and judiciary at Kremlin palace.

President Rouhani, heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, arrived in Moscow on Monday upon invitation by his Russian counterpart and met the country’s high-ranking officials during his two-day stay.
