Rouhani strongly condemns bomb explosion in St. Petersburg metro

In the message addressed to President Putin, President Rouhani voiced his condolences and strongly condemned the terrorist explosion claiming lives of innocent people and injured dozens of others.

In his message, President Rouhani also sympathized with the bereaved families of the victims and the Russian people and prayed for their patience and also voiced the grief of Iranian nation over the incident.

'As pointed out in our meeting in Moscow, eradication of all types of terrorism requires collective contribution of the international community along with cooperation of all countries,' President Rouhani said.

He went on to say that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to fully cooperate with the Russian government in dealing with the issue.
