Rouhani, Putin review ways to enhance level of Iran-Russia ties

During the meeting, Iranian President lauded the positive impacts of Putin's visit to Iran last year on Tehran-Moscow relations and praised Russian president role in resolution of nuclear talks between Iran and G5+1.

Rouhani called the Baku Summit of Presidents of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan Republic a good opportunity to boost ties among the three states.

President Rouhani emphasized the need for sustainable stability in the region.

President Putin cited his visit to Iran and meeting with the Supreme Leader, saying that the Russian government made every effort for consolidation of ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Iran and Russia cooperation has entered strategic participation stage, Russian president said, adding that future of Iran-Russia relations are brilliant.
