Rouhani: Iran never to quit path of progress

President Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting with a group of people from Hormuzgan province in Bandar Abbas on Sunday.

During the tenure of the 11th government, the country has experienced remarkable developments in economy, science and international relations, and will not easily give up its achievements, President Rouhani said.

'We are in the middle of our path and approaching the zenith is not out of reach,' the president added.

Iran will never return to the valley of economic recession and sanctions as we can observe the peak of victory and the government is determined to accomplish its mission, President Rouhani said.

Iran has never sought and will never seek violence and extremism, but it is looking forward to an effective interaction with the world, the president went on to say.
