Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of the 23rd Press Exhibition underway at Imam Khomeini Mosalla (grand mosque) in Tehran, Head of cultural, arts department of Alarab Daily Newspaper Said Dahri made the remarks.

He said the Islamic Republic of Iran's flourishing economy and its proper situation in the region, has prompted Trump to impose more sanctions against Iran.

'I think Iran has been fully committed to its obligations as per the 2015 nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),' Dahri said.

Touching upon an economic blockade imposed on Doha by the Saudi-led quartet of Arab countries, he said the move has paved the way for the expansion of economic relations between Qatar and Iran.

Referring to the two countries' aged-old relations, Dahri said the level of Qatar-Iran trade transactions has been expanded.

He also described economic blockade on Qatar as a 'good incident' which has paved the way for expansion of all-out ties between Doha and Tehran.

Touching upon the Qatari policy for flourishing its tourism industry, Dahri said Doha is seeking to issue visa for Iranian citizens upon arrival at the country's airports.

Referring to the power of media in addressing the regional crisis, he said mass media; the social networks in particular, play a key role in covering regional developments.
