Promotion of ties between Iranian, Portuguese cities urged

Mostafa Kavakebian, the head of Iran/Portugal parliamentary friendship group stressed boosting economic ties and holding more consultations between merchants and chambers of commerce in a meeting with Basilio Horta, Mayor of Sintra.

Presenting some information about Sintra and its historical background, Basilio Horta indicated his willingness for the Iranian investors to invest in this city. He also suggested holding sessions between both sides’ business people in order to promote commercial and economic cooperation.
