President Rouhani: Gov't committed to serve all Iranians

'The government is duty-bound to serving the Iranian people without considering their political and ethnic inclinations,' President Rouhani said, addressing the cabinet meeting in Tehran on Sunday evening.

He underlined that serving the people should in such a way as to make the Iranians feel the effects of these services.

On Saturday, President Rouhani called for adopting measures by the government and private sector to help boost national production.

The Iranian president made the remarks in a fast breaking (Iftar) ceremony with the Iranian businessmen and entrepreneurs.

'By increasing the national production, we can help improve employment and enhance Iran's pride and dignity in the world,' President Rouhani said.

He urged the private sector and entrepreneurs to boost non-oil exports and find sustainable international markets to sell their products.

The Business Environment Rankings index shows that Iran among 189 countries has improved its position from 152 to 118, the President said.

Rouhani also hailed stability in the country's currency exchange market as well as the achievement of a single-digit inflation rate by Iran.
