Plane makes emergency landing in southwesst Iran

Ehsan Alvarinejad, an official affiliated to the Abadan international airport told IRNA in this southwestern provincial capital city that flight number 7404 of the Kish Airlines made an emergency landing at 10 o'clock local time (05:30 GMT).

The pilot noticed that one of the engines stopped working when the plane was 20 miles away from the Abadan city, Alvarinejad said.

He added that no one was hurt during the emergency landing.

He said that the plane was completely checked by experts before takeoff and the problem occurred while it was in the sky.
