Palestinian speaker, political leaders congratulate Larijani on reelection

Larijani, an MP from Qom, was reelected as the speaker of the tenth Majli through legislators' votes.

In his message, Al-Zanoun expressed his congratulations to Larijani on his reelection, saying that he knows for certain that he will strongly defend the rights of the Palestinians.

He hoped that the fasting month of Ramadan will mark a good-omen for Iran's further development, progress and calm.

Meanwhile, under-secretary-general of Palestine Freedom Democratic Front Fahad Soleiman, Secretary of Fatah Movement Central Committee Ziyad al-Saghir Abu Hazem, Secretary-General of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Ahmd Jibril and Secretary-General of Palestinian Popular Struggle Front Khled Abdelmajid in separate messages felicitated Larihjani on his election as the head of Iranian legislature.

They all wished him success in his mission and hailed his principled stances regarding the issue of Palestine.

Fahad Soleiman hailed Iran's support to the Palestinian nation, saying that he was pleased when heard about the country's backing to the oppressed nation during Larijani's meeting with the Palestinian resistance groups in Tehran.

Abu Hazem congratulated Iranian MPs' confidence in Larijani saying that he deserved the vote of confidence.

Abdelmajid also lauded Larijani's historic role in support of the Palestinian nation and confronting the Zionist regime, saying that his backing and measures helped strengthening the Palestinian nation's struggle against the usurper regime.
