Ramazan Sharif said, “Despite all the threats and oppositions, the news about Palestine and the Resistance Axis is fully covered and spread throughout the world and is reflected and analyzed.”
In the meeting whose goal was to organize the International Quds Day events, Sharif said that since the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the Islamic Republic of Iran has on the annual Quds Day reviewed the Palestine issues and the Zionist oppressions, not letting Palestine be forgotten.
He added, “Although the global arrogance has done a great deal to distract people’s minds from Palestine and the Zionists’ oppressions, Palestine is still ‘the pivotal issue’ in the Islamic world.”
Founded by Imam Khomeini in 1979, the International Quds Day is an annual event held on the last Friday of the Holy Ramadan to support the Palestinians and oppose Zionism and Israeli occupation of Palestine.
Quds Day is also held in several other countries, mainly in the Arab and Muslim world; people, both Muslim and non-Muslim, rally in many cities around the world.
