Pakistan’s Sindh governor invites Iranian investors

“Ample opportunities are available for investments in Sindh,” the governor said in a meeting with newly appointed Consul General of Iran Ahmad Mohammadi who called on him at the Governor House in Karachi.

Zubair said Karachi, an attractive destination for national and international investors due to its geographical location, provides ample investment opportunities to Iran too.

He invited Iranian investors to focus on wide ranges of sectors including agriculture, infrastructure development, energy, education and health.

The governor told the Iranian envoy that Iran will be more than welcomed to invest in Sindh as a neighboring country of Pakistan and regarding the fact that the two capitals enjoy brotherly ties.

“Joint ventures undertaken by the two countries in energy sector is reflective of our cordiality,” he said seeking further cooperation in wide range of spheres.

“On the occasion Consul General of Iran said government of Iran and its people hold Pakistan in high esteem and are equally keen to invest in Pakistan.

He said that Mohammadi voiced Iran's readiness to promote relations with Pakistan in all political, economic, cultural, and technological fields.

The Pakistani official assured to offer all needed support and cooperation for the well being of Sindh through investments in agriculture and energy sectors.
