Pakistani religious leaders, scholars slam Saudi-style Hajj management

The seminar titled “Hajj and Eid-ul-Adha symbol of unity sacrifice and servitude” was organized by Cultural Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the capital Islamabad on the first anniversary of Mina disaster.

A number of Pakistani scholars, intellectuals, religious leaders of different Islamic schools of thought and journalists attended the seminar.

The speakers in their speeches strongly condemned Saudi policies regarding Hajj ceremony, Hajj management and policies regarding the Muslim world.

They unanimously emphasized on reconsideration of Hajj management by the whole Muslim world saying the Mina disaster is evidence of Saudi incompetence.

The speakers also stressed upon the unity in Muslim world to frustrate the evil-designs of enemies of Islam.
