Pakistani mayors to attend Muslim mayors confab in Iran's Mashhad

Consul Generals of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the three cities have extended the invitations to the Pakistani mayors on behalf of the Iranian government.

Consul General of Iran in Lahore Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi presented the invitation to Mayor Lahore Mubashir Javaid whereas Consul General of Iran in Quetta Mohammad Rafiei presented the invitation to Mayor Quetta Kaleemullah Kakar.

Pakistani mayors have welcomed the Iranian invitation and expressed their desire to attend the international conference. They said Iran and Pakistan are tied in eternal bond of friendship which will be further strengthened in future.

The Iranian city of Mashhad will be hosting the conference of Muslim World Mayors from April 25 to April 27.
