Talking to media, he said: Pakistan has not attained the status of a nuclear power to bow before the US hegemony or terrorists.

Criticizing the Saudi-led military alliance, he said that almost 40 countries of the Muslim world have formed an alliance, but what would be the future of other Islamic countries that have not joined the alliance?

Expressing his views on two terrorist blasts that killed over 100 people on June 23 in majority Shia city of Parachinar in NW Pakistan, the senior politician said that unfortunately both the killers and the victims of the incident were followers of Islam.

The blasts hit people attending the International Quds Day rally.

Daesh linked terrorist group Lashkar-i-Jhangvi has claimed responsibility for Parachinar deadly blasts.

Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah added that Daesh is basically a Zionist related terrorist organization.

He added that whole Muslim world is engulfed into flames whereas majority of Muslim rulers have become silent spectators to the whole scenario.

He said that unfortunately majority of the leaders of Muslim countries have become tools in the hands of western governments and are not paying any heed to the aspirations of their own people.
