Pakistan links Friday terrorist attacks to Afghanistan borders

At least 70 people were killed, and over 200 injured in terrorist blasts in Quetta and Parachinar yesterday. Parachinar is located in Pakistan's tribal areas near border with Afghanistan.

Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan also said that policy of accusing Pakistan for every terrorist activity in Afghanistan is very dangerous for the peace of the area.

Pakistan army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor has linked the recent attacks to sanctuaries inside Afghanistan.

Afghanistan also claims that terrorist attacks in the country are connected with terrorist groups hiding in their sanctuaries in Pakistan.

Pakistan has recently started fencing of entire Pak-Afghan border to check infiltration.

Though Pakistan says fencing is being done in order to prevent infiltration of militants which could create problems for both countries, there is serious objection from Afghan side on the exercise.

Some Afghan officials believe that Pakistan by fencing the border wants to assert its position on Durand line which is not acceptable to Afghanistan.
