Official: US officilas’ trip to Middle East, reason for discordance

In a meeting with Russia's special envoy on Syria Alexander Lavrentiev, Shamkhani said that the constructive collaborations between Iran and Russia has turned the regional security equation against the terrorists, among whose consequences are freedom of Halab, the ceasefire and creating de-escalation zones.

Referring to the meeting of secretaries of security councils of Iran, Russia, Iraq and Syria in Moscow, he said that the meeting was an effective step in the strategic coordination in combating terrorism.

Shamkhani added that total freedom Syria should be materialized with national sovereignty of the country. And any attempt to partition the country and stabilize the armed elements will result in great terrorist dangers in the future.

Lavrentiev supported Iran’s constructive role in political process of peace in Syria, and added that Iran and Russia agree on many of the issues in Syrian and have had constructive collaborations that have been a great help towards stability and security in the region and the world.

He also said that commitment of the sides of the agreement to decrease the tension will pave the way towards final solution for crisis in Syria.
