No bombing at work – source says

Deputy Police Chief in Khouzestan Province Colonel Ali Qassempour said that however, more clear investigations are underway to find out the source of the news.
He said, “At 10 am, the police was informed that a suspicious object had been observed in a dustbin in Farhang Shahr. Soon upon receipt of the report, the specialized police forces attended the scene for checking and defusing and while observing securing arrangements, the dustbin was checked and only a number of worn out equipment, including leather case of a colt gun, that was possibly left over from war (1980-88) was found inside.”
He added that the equipment was transferred to police headquarters for careful expert works by the police and “nothing was found to establish its explosive nature or that it contained explosives.”
He noted that police has also launched more careful examination on the motivation behind the act.
